Thinking of Starting a Small Business

Savannah SCORE and The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center jointly offer workshops to help answer questions about the steps involved in starting a small business. These workshops cover business start-up basics including:

  • Developing the Business Idea
  • Marketing
  • Financing
  • Business Management
  • Business Planning
  • The Business Plan

 

 

Evening Workshop Schedule
An updated schedule will be available in late August.

Each class will be held from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Small Business Assistance Center, 111 E. Liberty Street. The registration fee for the workshop is $50 per person if prepaid or $69 per person if paid on the day of the class or at the door and includes a detailed workbook and other materials. Payment may be made by cash, check or credit card.
