EXPERIENCE RESUME
Doug Fuss has been a member of Savannah SCORE
since 2000 and is Vice Chairman of the Chapter. He has
advised numerous clients and small businesses in the
greater Savannah area including information technology
companies, online retailers, and start-up enterprises.
Marketing and sales strategy development is one of his
specialties. |
Following his formal education, Mr.
Fuss embarked on a 33 year career in sales, marketing
and market development with IBM. During this period he
held numerous positions in direct sales and headquarters
marketing including Branch Manager, Industry Manager,
Director of Industry Software Solution Development, and
European Business Partner Manager-Software.
In 1997, Mr. Fuss retired following six years in
Paris and London and moved, with his wife Susan, to
Savannah. In addition to his counseling with SCORE, he
has been engaged in USAID funded software projects in
Jordan, Macedonia, Lebanon, and Uzbekistan.
Mr. Fuss graduated from Cornell University with an
advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering.
