Bill began his career as a management consultant with Kurt Salmon Associates, a firm specializing in the retail, health care, and consumer products industries. As a consultant, he worked with apparel, furniture, and carpet companies in the US and Canada to improve their manufacturing operations. He then became Director of Operations for Franco Manufacturing, a textile printing and kitchen products company, managing their manufacturing and distribution operations. He spent the last 20 years of his career as General Manager of Brooks Brothers, managing their shirt factories and distribution center in North Carolina. He retired two years ago and moved to Savannah with his wife.
He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University.
