Jules Homans

Jules retired to his home town, Savannah, following a 41 year career in the pulp and paper industry. A chemical engineering graduate of the University of Maine, he held management positions in mill and Division technical operations, marketing, and general management. He also led the strategic consulting arm of a major engineering company and was the technical vice president of an industry trade association focused on recycling. At his retirement in 2002 he was Executive Vice President-Pulp and Paperboard for Gulf States Paper Corporation.

Jules has been a SCORE counselor since 2006. He has also served on the Board of his alma mater, Benedictine Military School.
