Resource Partner of U.S. Small Business Administration

What is SCORE?
SCORE, Counselors to America’s Small Business, is a non-profit organization funded by congressional grants and private donations. We are resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), dedicated to helping the small business community through no-fee mentoring and business counseling. SCORE members volunteer their time and considerable business expertise to help coach the next generation of entrepreneurs. SCORE boasts 370 chapters and 11200 members nationwide. In SCORE’s more than 45 years of service our volunteers have assisted more than 4.5 million business owners.

Who are SCORE Volunteers?
Both retired and employed volunteers come from every facet of the business community. Some have worked for major corporations while others own or have owned their own businesses. No one person may have all the knowledge you seek, but, with the depth of SCORE’s experience, it won’t be difficult to find the expertise you need. Whether it’s questions about exporting, manufacturing, packaging, marketing or human resources, SCORE is ready to help you on the path to success.

How can SCORE help me?
You are welcome to take advantage of SCORE’s confidential, one-to-one or team business management counseling - available at the SCORE offices or at your business location. Furthermore, SCORE provides counseling services, workshops and business tips on-line through the national website www.score.org, and we partner with The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) on their popular “Starting a Business” workshops.
